Spring in Greenville, SC is one of the best times of the year. The weather gets warm and everyone is ready to get outside to play. Lucky enough for residents of Greenville & the Upstate, not only do we have many parks and lakes within driving distance to enjoy but we also have a host of events you can attend where you are sure to meet up with some of your friends.
Highlighted Spring 2014 Events:
Downtown Alive
Starting in March and running through August concerts are held every Thursday in NOMA square on Main Street in Greenville. As soon as you get off of work at 5 you can head downtown to enjoy some cold beverages in the open spring air as you listen to some great tunes and chat with your friends about your upcoming weekend plans.

Main Street Fridays
If you can’t make it out on Thursday night or if you just had so much fun you want to come back, then head out to NOMA square again on Friday night for jazz, blues, and oldies concerts. Bring the whole family to also enjoy the Century BMW Kids’ Zone.

Saturday Market
Staring on May 3 the Saturday Market, located on McBee Ave, will begin its 13th year. Upstate South Carolina is full of great local farms and artisans which is why this open air market has become a favorite for local residents. So if you can’t wait for the fruits of your labor in your own garden come buy some of the upstate’s finest produce and more.
Moonlight Movies
To our knowledge Greenville doesn’t have a drive in theater but we arguably have something better beginning May 7th. For the perfect laid back spring date bring some lawn chairs and maybe even a picnic to watch classic movies at Falls Park The Moonlight Movies schedule for May includes films Harvey, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, the Sandlot, and a Viewer’s Choice.
Artisphere
When we work with our interior decorators to put the final touches on your home we are always looking for unique art pieces. Artisphere, May 9 -11 2014, is an annual arts festival where vendors from all over the country setup on the West End of downtown Greenville to create a fun market where you can shop for that one of a kind piece and more.
Greenville Scottish Games
May 23rd and 24th the ninth Greenville Scottish Games will take place. A variety of events will take place over the two day event in which you can learn about and celebrate the Scottish heritage. Visit the Greenville Scottish Games website for more information and the full schedule of events.
Peace Center
At the Peace Center, a performing arts venue located in downtown Greenville, residents and tourists can attend a variety of performances including musicals, plays, and concerts.
